We celebrate drivers year-round, but this week we have a special shout out! We want to take the time to highlight our top 5 favorite things we love about the TA Carrier Network. [By the way, there are waaaaay more than 5!]

#1 They are like family…

Many factors play a role in keeping the supply chain linked, and arguably none more so than the relationships built between a 3PL and the Truck Drivers they depend upon. The natural codependence of those with freight and those who haul it leads to an essential need for common ground and mutual respect. That is why our drivers are like family – an extension of ourselves, and the frontline face of who we are as a company showcased on the road!

#2 Life on the road makes for great stories…

When so much time is spent traversing the thousands of miles of road stretched across regions and terrain of all kinds, you are bound to come across some interesting stories. But in the case of one of our TA dispatchers and a consistent driver – it’s a love story. They met and fell in love under the roof of our original location 19 years ago and they are still married to this day!

#3 No surprises!

One of the most important attributes our drivers possess is their reliability, and we wouldn’t want it any other way. There are no surprises when you trust a TA dedicated driver. The good faith provided by someone who handles their obligations with utmost safety and care like they do is a luxury. And the stamina and consistency of their diligence makes them the most vital cog in the transportation machine and essential to making ship happen.

#4 They are resilient…

When our drivers have a deadline, they meet it. When there are no easy options, they still push through. They are resilient by nature. Every person in the supply chain industry plays a specific role, and most of those roles exist simply to support what these drivers are putting the physical effort into executing. It is an ongoing, sometimes brutal, and never-ending task that requires a battle mentality – but our drivers can handle it.

It is no secret that they are the connection between our locations, our customers, and the millions of pounds of products that we ship around the world every year. So naturally, we rely on their service, and even when the obstacles seem like an impasse, they are up for the challenge. Over iced roads, through torrential storms, and always in the nick of time, our drivers make a difference – globally!
